Printing Handouts

Parents who miss the Main Hall talk still get a takeaway from Open Day. Handouts print multiple small slides per page — an audience takeaway. Full Page Slides print one slide per page for wall review. Notes Pages print slide image plus speaker notes text.

Volunteers often prefer Handouts with three slides and room to write questions.

• 1Click File → Print.
• 2Under Settings, open Full Page Slides.
• 3Click Handouts → 3 Slides (with lines for notes).
• 4Expected result: Preview shows three small slides per page with lines beside them.
• 5Select printer or Microsoft Print to PDF → Print.

Use Notes Pages to print Dr. Helen Marsh's speaker script. Use Handouts for parents at the exit desk.

Families collect paper while tours depart from the Main Hall.

• 2Or choose Print to PDF → save NorthgateOpenDay-handout.pdf.
• 3Stack printed handouts beside prospectus cards at the exit desk.
• 4Expected result: Parents leave with tour times and contact details on paper.

Print handouts the day before Saturday 14 March 2026 — hall printers jam when every department prints at once.

One slide per page uses too much paper and omits note lines. Use File → Print → Handouts → 3 Slides or export PDF with the same layout.

Email volunteers the PDF the day before if they need to print at home.

Example — PDF handout for volunteers: Print to PDF creates NorthgateOpenDay-handout.pdf — three slides per page with note lines. Parents open PDFs on phones without PowerPoint installed.
