WordArt styles, transforms, shadows, and 3D text effects.
Text effects without breaking readability
Text Effects (glow, shadow, reflection) are fine on short titles. Transform curves text along a path — use sparingly on a handbook cover.
Convert WordArt to regular text only when you no longer need effects: right-click → Convert to Text (you lose WordArt styling). For the handbook, keep WordArt as a floating object and Send Behind Text if it overlaps the logo.

Check your work
You are correct if all of these are true:
- Open-day date appears as WordArt on the cover — not typed in Normal style.
- Text is readable in Print Preview without heavy blur or shadow.
- Uniform and welcome paragraphs below are still plain body text.
