Introduction
What CSS does, how it turns the plain tea room pages into a finished design, and how this course is organised.
What Is CSS?
HTML says what each part of the page is. CSS says how it looks. Keeping them separate means you can restyle a whole website by changing one CSS file.
Before and After
What the browser shows

The finished example is on the example site. Its style sheet is at /media/web/site/css/style.css — you can open it in the browser and read it once you finish the course.
